Stayed here for our anniversary. Beautiful location with a wonderful staff. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms have thin walls, so you can hear anything going on, but overall, it was a great stay, and we would stay again! Everything was clean and top notch.
We've been coming to the Emerson for 35 years. Some trips have been quiet and romantic others included friends, still others our then teenager daughters and their friends. More recently, our adult daughters, husbands and grandchildren. This is a special place and we are thrilled that Kimberly is really trying to make it even more glorious and glamorous. The only thing I would like would be better closet space but then the charm might be lost. So, I try to pack accordingly. The view is just breathtaking. Sitting on the porch with a book or sip are perfect ways to while away a lazy morning, afternoon or evening. The pool is glorious with a perfect location to gather the rays and cool off. The downstairs have been renovated and boast a wonderful spot to watch a game, play a game or read on a cloudy day. The lobby and parlor bar are inviting and provide a spot to gather, imbibe in an aperitif, light dinner or listen to one of the local musicians. Again, thank you Kimberly for bringing the Emerson into a new era yet one that whispers of bygone luxury and service. Thank you also to Crystal at the front desk. ( Wow! Keep her Kimberly!)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at the Emerson Inn! It’s such a charming and quaint property with so much character. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. A special shoutout to Hannah, who went above and beyond to give us great advice and local recommendations that made our trip even better. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable getaway!
The views here are truly one of a kind. Such a peaceful place to unwind. They have everything you could imaging and the most friendly staff. The historical nostalgia was beautiful and you can tell the ownership pays attention to detail around every corner. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back!
Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting. We came in with a large group and they super accommodating. The views are wonderful, the staff is lovely & the food is good too. This is the place to stay if you’re in the Rockport area
We had a really wonderful experience at the Emerson Inn. The location and views are incredible. My favorite was relaxing on the veranda with coffee in the morning, a book in the afternoon, and cocktails after dinner. We also dined on the veranda at the Parlor Bar Bistro; our meals were delicious and the service was excellent. They offer a free continental breakfast for guests but with the same great service for coffee/tea/juice and a wonderful spread. We took in a concert at the beautiful Shalin Liu Performance Center, enjoyed an interesting hike at Halibut Point, and of course the bustle of Bearskin neck. So many great options around, but I wish we had more time at the Inn to enjoy the pool and lawn even more. Inside the Inn is elegantly decorated and full of history. We were very happy with our room and felt well taken care of. We are already talking about when we'll be back!
We loved our stay! Our room faced the ocean which made for a beautiful view and sea breeze. I did see some reviews mentioning that the rooms were small, but we didn’t mind. More importantly, everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast that was provided everyday as that made it easy to get the day started. We didn’t hang out in the library area much, but it was beautiful and inviting.
Our 1st time here. We will be back! Staff was first rate, very friendly and attentive. Kimberly, the Innkeeper, introduced herself and was genuinely concerned about our satisfaction. Excellent location, room was very comfortable! Only recommendation, and this did not detract from our stay at all, maybe a full service breakfast? Even though we understand the reasoning behind the buffet. Totally enjoyable stay!
